(SEATAC) Many local roads are icy this morning, as temperatures remain in the 20s in several locations.
Anything that was wet overnight is now very slippery. As for snow today…
“If the current trend continues, most of the heavier snow will remain to the east and south (of Seattle),” says Carly Kovacik with the National Weather Service office in Seattle. “It doesn’t look like a lot of it is going to reach too far north this morning.”
Meaning areas like Everett and Bothell will get a break today. Where it does snow, Kovacik is expecting accumulations between 1-2 inches.
And then there’s tomorrow, when she says another day of widespread snow showers is possible.
“Looking forward to Friday we do have a more substantial weather system expect to approach the area,” Kovacik says.
