Seattle school district sues social media platforms, blames them for student mental health crisis

Seattle Public Schools has filed a federal lawsuit against the tech giants behind Instagram, TikTok (logos pictured) and other social media platforms. The suit filed in U.S. District Court in Seattle blames social media for students’ worsening mental health and behavioral disorders including anxiety, depression, eating disorders and cyberbullying.
