‘Parental rights’ center of debate as transgender protection bill clears legislative hurdle.

The bill that has now passed the House Human Services, Youth, & Early Learning committee offers assurances that a minor child seeking gender-affirming or reproductive healthcare can enter a shelter with assurances the shelter won’t contact their parents and disclose their location.
