For 15 years, Mount Vernon, WA based Melodic Caring Project has lifted the spirits of chronically ill children by streaming live concerts into hospital rooms.  Also in a new Puget Sound Now program, American Red Cross offers reminders about natural disaster preparedness.  Northwest Furniture Bank in Tacoma and Vancouver, WA turns donated household items into hope for people rebuilding their homes and lives.
