In 1960, the first televised presidential debate aired between Nixon and Kennedy, changing political media forever. Four years later, in 1964, Gilligan’s Island made its debut on CBS. In 1990, the MPAA introduced the NC-17 rating, replacing the old X. Fast forward to 2023: Donald Trump was found guilty of fraud for inflating his assets. That same year, Joe Biden became the first sitting president to walk a picket line, joining striking autoworkers in Michigan.
