The stores are bursting with colorful plants, and you’re ready to get going. So, where do you go to buy your plants?
Based on surveys with shoppers around the sound, Checkbook.org finds that when it comes to plants, there is a relationship between price and quality.
“The companies that get the highest ratings for plant quality and customer service tend to charge higher prices,” said Kevin Brasler, Checkbook’s executive editor. “The Home Depot and Lowe’s charge really low prices for plants. Compared to most other chains and independents, they have very, very low prices. But they also get really low ratings from their customers that we survey for things like product quality, advice, and customer service.”
