Time is short to change the derogatory names of 18 Washington places

The state Committee on Geographical Names seeks public input in a hurry. They need suggestions on new names for lakes, rivers, hills and ridges statewide to replace historical names containing the derogatory word starting with Sq___. Click the play arrow to hear Corwin Haeck’s report.
