The 3-story Wayne apartment building is part of a block of condemned buildings. The Wayne caught fire around 4 a.m. Thursday. The fire response quickly escalated to two alarms. By 6:30 the fire was contained and and mostly out, with no reported injuries. Neighbors tell NW Newsradio’s Corwin Haeck they believe squatters may have started the fire by shooting off fireworks.
