Democrat incumbent with big lead as Republicans split 8th Congressional District votes

The 8th Congressional District covers part of six counties: King, Pierce, Snohomish, Chelan, Kittitas and Douglas Counties.

The first batch of vote counting shows the two-term Democrat, Kim Schrier, has the lead with 49.4%. Schrier is followed by Matt Larkin at 15.89%, Reagan Dunn at 15.04% and Jesse Jensen with 12.58%. Larkin and Jensen have never held political office. Jensen lost to Schrier in 2020 by about 3%. Larkin lost the State Attorney General race to Bob Ferguson in 2020. Reagan Dunn has been a King County Council member since 2005.
