Report from the Seattle Office of Inspector General The report slams SPD for weaknesses in leadership and lack of transparency and accountability during the 2020 racial equity protests. The report is especially critical of the now infamous Proud Boys ruse, in which officers chatted over their radios about an imaginary group of armed white supremacists marching on CHOP, knowing protesters were monitoring the police band.
