(BELLEVUE, Wash.) — Hundreds gathered at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue to pay their respects to Officer Jordan Jackson, who was killed last month while on duty as a motorcycle cop.

“He was engaging. He was kind,” said Chief Wendell Shirley. “He just had that spirit about him that was rare, unique, and contagious.”

Jackson was 34 years old and is survived by his wife and two children.

He was killed on November 21, 2022 when he was struck by another vehicle. The State Patrol says the investigation is ongoing, but neither Jackson nor the other driver appeared to impaired or speeding at the time of the collision.
