The ’15 minute city’ concept has gained currency among urban planners as a way to visualize neighborhoods in which parks, shopping, health care, schools, libraries and transit stops are no more than a 15 minute walk or bike ride away. Seattle’s status is mixed at best. Public health researcher Nat Henry has created an interactive map showing which neighborhoods come closer than others to meeting the 15 minute criteria.
