King County ballot measure would raise property tax to fund mental health ‘crisis care’ centers

The county special election asks voters to pay for new mental health “crisis care centers.” If the measure passes the county would establish and operate 5 drop-in centers where someone experiencing a mental health or drug crisis could get an onsite assessment and immediate care.
