(SEATTLE) Have you ever wanted to be part of something truly special? Today here at Northwest Newsradio, we’re hoping you’ll join us to literally help wishes come true.
During our “Wishes in Flight” radio-thon, we’re asking you to donate your unused air miles to the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They, in turn, will use the miles to send local kids on their dream trips. Many of these adventures had to be postponed due to the pandemic, so as you might imagine, there’s currently a large backlog of wishes.
Information on how you can donate your air miles is posted below, but first, take a listen to a couple of stories involving the kids you’ve helped over the years.
To donate your air miles to Make-A-Wish:
- Call 206.588.8958 today. Operators are standing by.
- Go online to WishesInFlight.akwa.wish.org
Please note:
· You can donate Alaska, Delta and United miles at the above website
· American, Southwest and JetBlue miles can also be donated online, directly on the airline’s webpage.
· If your miles are expiring, donate them to Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington. Once transferred, they will not expire for the organization.
