The Seahawks have locked up Geno Smith with a 3 year deal worth up to $105 million. The contract includes $30 million guaranteed up front and another $30 million in incentives.
Hawks’ GM John Schneider says Smith showed his value last season. Schneider told Smith, “What an inspiration you’ve been to men, women, young, old – all around the country…lessons about faith, perseverance, work ethic, being a good person.”

In fact, Smith says he’s confident in the ability of Schneider and Coach Pete Carroll to build a championship team.
