Shrek 5 Delayed

DreamWorks and Universal have officially delayed the release of Shrek 5 from its original December 2026 premier date to June of 2027, positioning it for Independence Day weekend release. The delay will help the film avoid competing with major holiday blockbusters like Avengers: Doomsday, Ice Age 6, and Dune part 3 in the crowded year-end season. Despite the shift, the return of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz as their iconic characters—along with Zendaya voicing Shrek and Fiona’s daughter—remains firmly on track
