A new Harvard study finds that 60% of individuals living with chronic illnesses such as heart disease, asthma, or diabetes keep their condition a secret from coworkers. According to U.S. News and World Report, more than one-third of these workers have even skipped medical appointments because of job demands, highlighting the difficult balance between health and career.
