September 23.  On this day in history, back in 1846, the planet Neptune was discovered by a German astronomer. In 1879, Richard Rhodes invented the first hearing aid. In 1962, The Jetsons premiered on ABC—the first network show broadcast in color. Fast forward to 2002, the first version of the Mozilla Firefox browser was released. In 2011, All My Children aired its final episode on ABC after a 41-year run. In 2022, Albert Pujols became just the fourth MLB player to hit 700 career home runs.
