Eric is anchor and reporter at KNWN Northwest NewsRadio 977 AM 1000. He has worked in just about every position from news anchor to sports reporter to editor since he first joined the station, then KOMO in 2002.
Born in Bellevue and raised in Honolulu, Eric graduated from Western Washington University. His career began at the old KING AM before moving to KONA in the Tri-Cities, then KGMI in Bellingham before returning to Seattle.
When not covering the news of the day or watching the local sports teams , he and his wife Aliona spend time outdoors either skiing or hiking, taking trips, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He is also known to run the occasional 5k race.
Little known fact about him: a holdover from his days as a player and coach…he is always lacing his shoes tight!
